Fred Sperry is a Certified Forester, licensed Oregon real estate broker, and a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters. He has over 25 years experience managing forests of the Pacific Northwest. His hands on and administrative experience includes reforestation, silviculture, road construction and maintenance, harvesting, procurement, land use, and management planning. Other primary responsibilities have included land transaction facilitation, including valuations, economic analysis, and due diligence. Fred has extensive experience dealing with state and federal agencies and with the Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and the Oregon and Washington Forest Practices Acts. |
Tim Gurton is a professional forester and long time woodland owner with extensive operational and management experience. He has worked for the Oregon Department of Forestry, the forest industry, and as an Instructor of Forest Technology at Umpqua Community College. Tim spent 25 years as an independent logging contractor and was a pioneer in cut-to-length, selective logging, dating back to 1991. |
Jim Mehrwein has 35 years experience as a professional forester working throughout the Western United States and Canada, including Alaska and Hawaii. Mr. Mehrwein specializes in forest inventory design, implementation, maintenance, modeling, custom database design, and harvest scheduling. He also has significant experience in natural resource management, valuation, due diligence projects and serving as an expert witness. Mr. Mehrwein is a certified Lead Auditor for group certification with the American Tree Farm System, a Registered Professional Forester in California, a Certified Forester with the Society of American Foresters, and a member of the Oregon Small Woodlands Association and the Hawaii Forest Industry Association.
